• Set yourself a challenge Try something you haven't done before- a film, animation, packaging design, textiles. You have a lot of time to do this project so get some new skills under your belt.  

    Know your Idea Have a strong theme/ context behind your                work-  what are you trying to say? What is your message? Is your work based

        on a song? a film, an era or a current affair issue?  

    Primary research!! Get away from the computer and visit                  place/people/companies that link to your work! It will help you have a better                

         understanding  of your work and end goal.  Do a questionnaire,

         visit a gallery/museum, email an artist.  Get under the surface of your idea.
